Very fine condition, with a small magazine photograph affixed at the bottom right corner. Undated on the reverse side. John Verzi collection. Entering films in the 1930s, Arturo de Cordova became one of the major stars of the Mexican cinema, specializing in action and adventure films. In the 1940s he began a relatively brief fling with Hollywood, which tried with limited success to market him as a "Latin lover" type. Eventually, he returned to Mexico, becoming more successful than ever and extending his star power to Latin America and Spain.
