Bold signature in black felt tip ink on a 6×4 yellow index card.  Very fine condition, with a small magazine photograph affixed at the top left corner.  A pencil notation on the reverse side indicates that this autograph was obtained in person in July 1973.  John Verzi collection.  Tom Tryon’s up-and-down acting career included such films as I Married a Monster From Outer Space (1958), The Cardinal (1963), and The Longest Day (1965), but in 1971 he abandoned his acting career and turned to writing, turning out such occult bestsellers as “The Other” and “Harvest Home,”, which brought him greater success than he had enjoyed as an actor.
