Bold signature, “Love/Shashi Kapoor,” in black felt tip ink on a 6×4 green index card, adding something indecipherable below the signature.  Very fine condition.  A pencil notation on the reverse side indicates that this autograph was obtained in person in July 1984.  John Verzi collection.  Appearing in 148 Hindi films, Shashi Kapoor was the first Bollywood star to achieve international popularity, largely through his association with the Merchant-Ivory producing/directing team, appearing in such films as The Householder (1963), Shakespeare-Wallah (1965), and Heat and Dust (1983).
