ROBERT STACK. Vintage 8×10 glossy black and white chest-up lobby still portrait from Conquest of Cochise (1953), signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint ink, “For Cliff -/Best wishes/Robert Stack.” Fine condition, with the first letter of the signature signed against the dark fabric of his uniform and difficult to see; very slight ink skipping to the first letter of his surname; and scattered mild handling bends that do not substantially detract from the overall appearance of the image. Surprisingly uncommon in vintage signed photographs.
