RALPH BELLAMY. Dapper-looking vintage 1930s 8×10 matte finish silver tone half-length publicity portrait, signed and inscribed in purple fountain pen, “To Nola/Hello yourself/Ralph Bellamy.” Very fine condition. Ralph Bellamy’s acting career spanned six decades. He appeared in dozens of films throughout the 1930s and ’40s, usually cast as an earnest boob who lost the leading lady to the much better-looking leading man in the final reel. He was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as F.D.R. in Sunrise at Campobello (1960).
