Vintage 1930s 6×8 matte finish black and white chest-up studio portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “To/Bill/Sincerly/Preston Foster.”  Very fine condition.  Entering film in 1929, Preston Foster moved rather quickly from unbilled bit roles to leading man in 1933. He appeared in scores of films through the 1940s, then continued with frequent television and stage performances until his retirement in 1967.
