Vintage 1930s 7×9 glossy black and white chest-up portrait, signed and inscribed in purple fountain pen, “To Kay/Sincerely/Paul Kelly.”  Fine condition, with neatly trimmed borders and scattered very mild handling bends in the background that do not substantially detract from overall appearance.  Entering films at the age of eleven in 1911, Paul Kelly transitioned from a juvenile lead on the silent screen to a tough-guy character actor in the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s. Signed photographs are relatively uncommon.
