OMAR BRADLEY. Vintage 8×10 matte finish black and white chest-up portrait of Bradley as a two-star general, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “To Mr. Marvin Kohn/with personal regards/and best wishes/Omar N. Bradley.” Fine condition, with a mild bend to the top right corner tip, not affecting the image; and very faint silvering to the dark background, completely invisible when the image is viewed head on. The photograph has been affixed to an identical size piece of thin mat board. The highly decorated general commanded the First United States Army during the invasion of Normandy in World War II and was appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1949. He was only one of nine officers to be awarded the rank of five-star general.
