Vintage signature and inscription, “A John/Nino Manfredi,” in turquoise fountain pen on a 6×4 white index card.  Very fine condition.  A pencil notation on the reverse side indicates that this autograph was obtained in person in April 1964.  John Verzi collection.  One of Italy’s most popular screen actors of the postwar era, Nino Manfredi appeared in more than 100 films during a five-decade career.  Adept at both drama and comedy, he was showered with awards for his performances, including four Golden Globes and a Best Actor award at the 1971 Cannes Film Festival.
