Vintage signature, “Sincerely/Milton Sills,” in black fountain pen on a 5×3 tan album page. Near fine condition, with a very faint horizontal bend running through the center of the page and the page sightly affixed at the corners to a 6×4 index card. This signature was part of the John Verzi collection but is one of the autographs that he acquired from another collector. The rugged, good-looking silent screen actor starred in over 80 films. Having established himself as a Broadway star before entering films, he unsurprisingly made a smooth transition to sound, but died of a heart attack in 1930 at the age of 48.
