Bold signature and inscription, “To John/with best wishes/Meredith Edwards,” in green fountain pen on a 6×4 green index card.  Very fine condition, with a small magazine photograph affixed at the top left corner.  A pencil notation on the reverse side indicates that this autograph was obtained in person in October 1967.  John Verzi collection.  The well-regarded Welsh character actor turned down offers from Hollywood, choosing to work only in the U.K., where he enjoyed a five-decade screen and television career, appearing in such films as A Run For Your Money (1949), The Blue Lamp (1950), The Lavender Hill Mob (1951), and The Cruel Sea (1953).
