Vintage 5×7 matte finish black and white chest-up studio portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “”For Scott-/Best wishes/Mercedes/McCambridge.”  Fine condition, with a small bend to the bottom right corner tip, not touching the image.  The fierce and slightly scary actress won an Oscar for her first film role, in All the Kings Men (1949) and was known for going ballistic on autograph seekers if one caught her in the wrong mood.  Vintage signed photographs are relatively uncommon.
