Vintage 8×10 double-weight glossy black and white full-length still from Going Places (1938), boldly signed and inscribed in green fountain pen, Best wishes/To ‘Del’/From/Louis Armstrong.”  Near fine condition, with heavy mounting remnants on the back; some paper thinning on the back, not affecting the appearance of the image; and scattered handling bends, two of which appear in the background, very slightly detracting from overall appearance.  There are light surface impressions evident in the bottom border from erased pencil notations made in another hand.  One of the “stars” of Going Places was a horse named Jeepers Creepers, and Armstrong serenaded him with the same named song, which became a major hit.
