Vintage 7.6 x 9.3 glossy black and white three-quarter length publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black marker, “To Daniel/Thanks for being so/nice to/Liberace/Aug. 19, 1956,” adding a drawing of a candelabra.  Fine condition, with light scuffing to the glossy finish on his left lapel; and a few tiny dings in the darker areas of the image, completely invisible when the photograph is viewed head on.  The virtuosic pianist and entertainer combined classical music with schlock to create box office gold during a lengthy career that was ended by his death from AIDS in 1987.
