LARRY STORCH. Most uncommon 1940s 8×10 glossy full-length sepia tone publicity portrait by James Kriegsmann, boldly signed and inscribed in turquoise fountain pen, “To Mickey -/With every/good wish/Sincerely/Larry Storch.” Very good condition, with noticeable creasing to three corners, visibly detracting from overall appearance although much could be matted out. Comic actor Larry Storch is best remembered for his role on the 1960s television sitcom “F Troop, ” appearing in 65 episodes. However, his film and TV career actually spanned six decades, and included much voice work in television animation. This 1940s portrait likely precedes his screen debut and is the earliest I have seen, but is priced to reflect its condition issues.
