Although Jeremy Brett appeared in occasional commercial films, such as My Fair Lady (1964), the vast bulk of his career was spent working in television, and “Young Dan’l Boone” was one of scores of series in which he was featured before gaining real international film as television’s definitive Sherlock Holmes in the 1980s.
