TLS, 1 p., large 8vo., August 8, 1949, Beverly Hills.  On the eve of his wedding, Stewart writes to a friend, with good career and personal content.  In part:  “Have just finished ‘Broken Arrow’ and after our marriage, tomorrow, Gloria and I are leaving for the Soap Box Derby and will be gone about a week.  After that comes the Bendix Air Race in which my plane, ‘Thunderbird’ is entered, and on the following day we leave for Nonolulu for a month’s moneymoon.  No picture plans for a time but will probably get back to work in the fall…”  Fine condition, with two mailing folds and light wrinkling.
