Vintage borderless 5×7 semi-glossy three-quarter length portrait from his 1947 short, The School for Postmen, boldly signed in black fountain pen, “J Tati/amicalement/Paris 1955.”  Very fine condition.  The celebrated French autodictat wrote, directed and starred in a legendary handful of idiosyncratic screen comedies, including Mr. Hulot’s Holiday (1953), Mon Oncle (1958), and Playtime (1967).  Signed photographs are quite uncommon.
