Vintage 3.2 x 5.3 semi-glossy black and white busts portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen.  Very fine condition.  The Welsh composer and actor was one of the most popular British entertainers of the first half of the twentieth century, penning and starring in numerous successful West End musicals over the course of several decades. He also appeared in a number of films, most notably starring in Alfred Hitchcock’s well-regarded silent version of The Lodger (1927).
