GEORGE K. ARTHUR (2). Scarce vintage 8×10 glossy black and white half-length publicity portrait for Baby Mine (1928), one of the numerous popular comedies in which he was paired with Karl Dane, signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “To John/Sincerely/George K. Arthur.” Very good condition, with mild paper loss to three corner tips; a noticeable bend in the top left corner and a smaller one in the bottom left corner; and scattered mild handling bends and dings in the image, not very visible when the photograph is viewed head on. The bold writing exhibits moderate to good contrast against the busy pattern of his shirt.
