Vintage 8×10 glossy black and white chest-up portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen.  Fine condition, with mild border creasing and a lengthy but extremely mild vertical handling bend running from his ear into the left shoulder of his jacket, close to invisible when the photograph is viewed head on and not substantially detracting from overall appearance.  The revered composer, in partnership with lyricist Alan Jay Lerner, wrote the scores for such theater classics as Brigadoon, Paint Your Wagon, My Fair Lady, Camelot, as well as the film Gigi (1958). Signed photographs are quite uncommon.
