FRANK VOSPER. Extremely scarce vintage 4.75 x 6.5 double-weight glossy black and white chest-up portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen, “Yours sincerely/Frank Vosper/1933.” Very fine condition. The British mystery playwright and actor appeared in a handful of films in the 1930s, including The Man Who Knew Too Much and Jew Suss (both 1934) and Royal Cavalcade (1936). His plays Love From A Stranger and Murder on the Second Floor were both filmed multiple times. He died mysteriously at age 37, falling overboard during a cruise from New York to London, his body never recovered.
