FERNAND GRAVEY. Vintage 1930s 3.5 x 5.5 deckle-edge glossy black and white bust portrait, boldly signed in blue fountain pen. Very fine condition. The congenial French actor had a lengthy careeer in France but was also cast in British and Hollywood films such as Fools For Scandal (1938), The Great Waltz (1938), and How to Steal a Million (1966). A member of the French Resistance and the Foreign Legion during World War II, he was feted as a war hero and made his final acting appearances in a French television mini-series in 1971.
