Vintage 8×10 glossy black and white half-length publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in green fountain pen, “To Jack Hall/Musically/Earl ‘Father’ Hines.”  Near very fine condition, with two tiny thumbing bends at the top center, not noticeably detracting from overall appearance.  Earl Hines established himself as one of the most influential jazz pianists of the 20th century, performing to great acclaim as both a soloist and leader of his own band, recording extensively, and giving his final concert just days before his death in 1983.
