Bold signature and inscription, “To John/Daniel Mann,” in black felt tip ink on a 6×4 green index card.  Very fine condition.  A pencil notation on the reverse side indicates that this autograph was obtained in person in January 1989.  John Verzi collection.  One of the first acting teachers at the Actors Studio, Daniel Mann experienced success as a Broadway director before moving to Hollywood.  He had an admirable string of hits during the 1950s, including, Come Back, Little Sheba (1952), The Rose Tattoo, I’ll Cry Tomorrow (both 1955), and The Last Angry Man (1959), Paul Muni’s screen farewell.
