Bold signature in black felt tip ink on a 6×4 pink index card.  Very fine condition.  A pencil notation on the reverse side indicates that this autograph was obtained in person in May 1978.  John Verzi collection.  The British character actress had a five-decade stage, screen and television career.  She is remembered for her fleeting appearance as a bogus nun in The Lady Vanishes (1938), and had more substantial roles in films such as I Know Where I’m Going! (1945), Whiskey Galore (1949), The Servant (1963) and The Mummy’s Shroud (1967).
