Vintage 1940s 8×10 glossy sepia tone chest-up portrait by Kriegsmann, boldly signed in blue fountain pen.  Fine condition, with a few scattered very mild thumbing bends and dings taht do not noticeably detract from overall appearance.  Jazz drummer and band leader Buddy Rich lived up to his billing as “the world’s greatest drummer” with his displays of virtuoso technique, speed, and sheer power. Barely out of his teens when he began appearing with Bunny Berigan and Artie Shaw, Rich enjoyed a five-decade professional career, performing up until the time of his death in 1987.
