Elegant vintage 8×10 matte finish black and white half-length studio portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “To Terri Arden/Lots of very good/wishes always/Bonita Granville.”  A few tiny abrasions in the bottom border; otherwise very fine condition.  Making her screen debut at age nine in 1932, Bonita Granville won an Oscar nomination as a teenager for her performance in These Three> (1936). For the next decade, she appeared in dozens of films, mostly “B” movies, including four outings as girl detective Nancy Drew. In later years, in between sporadic television appearances, she became a producer for the “Lassie” television series from 1959-1973.
