Bold signature in black felt tip ink on a 6×4 green index card.  Very fine condition.  A pencil notation on the reverse side indicates that this autograph was obtained in person in February 1973.  John Verzi collection.  Nicknamed “The Boss of the Blues,” Joe Turner’s career spanned six decades, from the 1920s until his death in 1985. His career peaked in the 1950s with his pioneering rock-and-roll recordings, especially “Shake, Rattle and Roll.”
