Glossy 1930s 8×10 black and white chest-up lobby still portrait for Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), boldly signed and inscribed in later years in black felt tip ink, “To Steve -/Happy Days/Beulah/Bondi.”  Very fine condition. During her five-decade career, Beulah Bondi appeared in scores of films, almost invariably cast in kindly matronly roles, winning two Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actress.
