BETTY HUTTON. Uncommon, zesty vintage 8×10 glossy black and white publicity portrait for The Miracle of Morgan’s Creek (1944), boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “To Shirley/All My Love/Betty Hutton.” Near fine condition, with tiny corner pinholes, and scattered creasing and handling bends in the borders and in the background at the lower left of the image, slightly detracting from overall appearance. The Miracle of Morgan’s Creek, one of the best-loved films of director Preston Sturges, was also one of the high points of Hutton’s film career.
