BETTE DAVIS (4). Borderless semi-glossy 8×10 two-thirds length portait of Davis as she appeared in The Little Foxes (1941), boldly signed in later years in black felt tip ink. Very fine condition, with the first letter of the signature penned against a darker area of the image, but readable. Davis won an Oscar nomination for her performance as Regina Giddins, the greedy matriarch of her toxic Southern family, but clashed repeatedly on the set with director William Wyler over her icy interpretation of the role, and the two would never work together again.
