Glossy 4×6 black and white half-length portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black felt tip ink, “To Derek/Cheers!/Benny Hill.”  Fine condition, with an extremely faint diagonal bend running the width of the photograph through his chest, barely visible when the photograph is viewed head on.  Randy British comedian Benny Hill hosted an enormously popular television show for a remarkable four decades. The show’s combination of broad slapstick, rude jokes, and endless supply of nubile young models in various stages of undress earned Hill the nickname of “King Leer,” as well as critical brickbats from feminists and other high-minded types.
