Vintage 7.5 x 9.5 matte finish black and white half-length publicity portrait by Witzel, circa 1918, signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “For/Coo-Coo/From Hal’s/Grandfather/Bebe Daniels.”  I have no idea what it means, either!  About fine condition, with scattered tiny white spots on her blouse, and some on her face, seemingly inherent in the photographic print; and the writing exhibiting only moderate contrast against the dark background at the top left, with her surname a bit on the scratchy side.  Nonetheless, an uncommonly early portrait of the durable actress.
