Vintage 8×10 glossy black and white three-quarter length portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “To a real swinger/and hitter of the golf balls/in fact, The way it should/be hit -/Best wishes and/Good Luck/Your Friend/’Babe’ D Zaharias.”  Very good condition, with scattered creasing and handling bends in both the borders and the image, noticeably detracting from overall appearance.  A two-time gold medalist in the 1932 Olympics, Babe Didrikson later became a professional golfer, wining ten LPGA championships.  She is considered one of the greatest female athletes of all time.  Signed photographs are quite uncommon, but this is priced to reflect its less than idea condition.
