AUDREY TOTTER. Original vintage glossy 8×10 black and white chest-up glamour portrait of tawdry Audrey from The Saxon Charm (1948), boldly signed and inscribed in later years in fine-point black ink, “To Leonard Sorgi/Joy, always/Audrey Totter.” Fine condition, with small bends to the top corners, one just glancing the background, not substantially detracting from the overall appearance of the image. Audrey Totter specialized in playing tough-talking, double-dealing dames in such noir classics as The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946), Lady in the Lake and The Unsuspected (both 1947).
