ARLINE JUDGE. Vintage 1935 8×10 glossy black and white chest-up 20th Century-Fox publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, “To Sanford -/My best to/you -/Arline Judge/’36.” Fine condition, with mild creasing in the top border, and faint silvering in her hair, completely invisible when the image is viewed head on. The sprightly, much-married actress played both leads and supporting roles in dozens of “B” films in the 1930s and ’40s. Authentically signed photographs are surprisingly scarce.
