Original vintage 7.1 x 9.7 glossy sepia tone half-length still from I Have Lived (1933), boldly signed and inscribed in black felt tip ink, “To Jon -/Best wishes -/Anita Page/ 4/28/’74.”  Fine condition, with trimmed borders.  Page rarely signed photographs during her relatively brief Hollywood heyday, relegating that task to a secretary, and after the end of her screen career in 1936 she retired into relative privacy and obscurity until re-emerging at shows and film festivals as a rather elderly woman in the 1990s. So, while this is not exactly a vintage signature, it is more vintage than one normally encounters, thanks to inveterate in-person collector John Verzi, who likely tracked her down at her home.
