Fine condition, with small cancellation holes not touching the signature and a faint vertical bend running through the center of the check. Alvin York was one of the most highly decorated American veterans of World War I, awarded a Medal of Honor for leading an attack on a German machine gun nest during the Argonne offensive in France in October 1918.
