Black and white 7.3 x 10.7 book-weight chest-up portrait, with printed biography below, removed from the 1924 edition of “Stars of the Photoplay, ” boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen, “To John/In appreciation/Alberta Vaughan.” Fine condition, with very mild handling bends in the borders. Undated. The actress was clossely associated with Mack Sennett, appearing in numerous comedy shorts during the silent era, occasionally opposite Harry Langdon and Stan Laurel.
