Glossy 8×10 black and white half-length studio portrait, boldly signed in later years in blue felt tip ink, “Dear Jeff -”Thank you!’/Adele Jergens.”  A tiny bend to the top left corner tip; otherwise very fine condition.  Former chorine and pinup cutie Adele Jergens appeared onscreen during the 1940s in musicals, comedies, and adventure films before really making her mark around 1950 as a tawdry temptress in a nice string of “B” crime dramas and noir<features. Never able to break into the ranks of A-list actors, she retired in 1956.
