Bold signature in fine-point black felt tip ink on a clean 5×3 index card. Very fine condition. Abraham Polonsky wrote the screenplays for three of the screen’s most memorable film noirs — Body and Soul (1947), for which he won an Oscar nomination, Force of Evil (1948), which he also directed, and Odds Against Tomorrow (1959). After being blacklisted in 1951, he did not work in Hollywood under his own name until 1968. Autographed material in any format is extremely scarce.
