WILLIAM BENDIX. Vintage 1946 8x10 glossy black and white head and shoulders portrait, boldlly signed and inscribed in blue fountain ink, "To Charles/Best wishes/William Bendix." Fine condition, with a mild bend in the bottom right corner; a faint paper clip impression at the top center; and scattered mild handling bends and surface impressions that do not substantially detract from the overall appearance of the image. Fairly scarce in anything but the wallet-size photos that he habitually sent to fans.
