TEX RITTER. Vintage 8x10 glossy sepia tone half-length publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, "To my friend/Joe Laflip/Alluette/Kindest Regards/Tex Ritter/1940." Fine condition, with mounting remnants to the verso and scattered creases and handling bends, most noticeable in the borders. This early photograph of Ritter in his days as a "B" Western star pre-dates his recording career, and is quite uncommon as such.
