Vintage 3.5 x 5.25 matte finish sepia tone two-thirds length pre-Hollywood portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen ink, "To [indecipherable] Mathieson/with best wishes/Paul von Hernried." Fine condition, with a partially trimmed top border. Extremely scarce in such early format -- in fact, the first I have ever seen.
