Neil Hamilton
NEIL HAMILTON. Vintage 1930s 8x10 glossy light sepia tone chest-up portrait by Maurice Seymout, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, "To - Theodore [indecipherable]/Good luck -/Neil Hamilton." Fine condition, with a small area of paper loss affecting two letters of the inscription and the right border slightly unevenly trimmed. Hamilton's career was a testament to perseverance: More than forty years after gaining stature as one of the most popular leading men of the silent screen, he achieved newfound popularity in the role of Commissioner Gordon on television's "Batman" series in the 1960s.
