Lynn Bari
LYNN BARI. Glossy 1940s 8x10 black and white half-length publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in later years in black felt tip ink, "To Tommy McCabe -/from a friend -/good luck!/Lynn Bari/1984." Fine condition, with the top and right borders partially trimmed. Lynn Bari entered Hollywood in 1933, appearing in scores of films over the next five years in bit or walk-on roles. In 1938 she was elevated to supporting roles and by the 1940s was a leading lady, almost exclusively in "B" films, usually cast in shady, unsympathetic roles.
