LOUIS ARMSTRONG. Magnificent vintage 8x10 glossy black and white full-length portrait, circa 1950, boldly inscribed in blue fountain pen, "To Peter/from/Louis Armstrong." Fine condition, with edge wear; bends to three corners, with only the bend to the lower right corner slightly impinging on the background; and a diagonal bend at the lower left side of the image, working its way from the edge into the background and slightly detracting from this otherwise exceptional image of the premier jazz trumpeter of the 20th century.
