Exceptional vintage 7-5/8 x 9-3/4 glossy light sepia tone chest-up costume portrait from Friends and Lovers (1931), boldly signed in black fountain pen and dated 1931 in his hand. Fine condition, with partially trimmed borders and three corner tips very slightly clipped. The writing is strong and clear on the actual photograph, although somewhat difficult to see in the accompanying scan. Extremely uncommon in such early format.
