Vintage 8x10 pearl finish sepia tone chest-up publicity portrait, by Vandamm, for the 1932 Broadway revival of Mourning Becomes Electra, boldly signed in black fountain pen, "With my good wishes/Sincerely Yours -/Judith Anderson." Fine condition, with a small surface abrasion in the left border; a few mild bends in the borders and one in her hair; and light silvering in her hair, probably entirely erasable and virtually invisible when the image is viewed head on. The earliest signed image of the actress that I have ever encountered!
